MN Mayflower Society Committee Opportunities
Membership Committee, you will help welcome new members, support current members, and promote growth within our Society. This is a collaborative role that connects you with others who share an interest in history, genealogy, and preserving the Mayflower legacy. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to participate, share ideas, and support the mission of our Society.
Education Committee
You will help share the story of the Mayflower and its legacy with both members and the public. Volunteers assist in developing educational programs, resources, and presentations for schools, community groups, and Society events. This is a creative and collaborative role for anyone interested in history, genealogy, or teaching others, and no formal background in education is required—just enthusiasm for helping others learn.
Bylaws Committee
you will help review, update, and maintain the Society’s governing rules to ensure they remain clear, current, and in alignment with nonprofit standards. Volunteers work together to recommend changes, provide guidance on governance issues, and support the Board in upholding the Society’s mission through sound organizational practices. An interest in detail and organizational structure is helpful, but no legal background is required.
